    Description:

    The Key Account Manager will focus on the development of sales and major accounts in the Pharmaceutical and Cosmetics industries for the sales region Americas. This position will deal primarily with capital equipment sales (QA and R&D equipment) throughout South and Central America in addition to the US. Fluency in Spanish is strongly preferred.

    Responsibilities & Qualifications

    • Managing and developing existing key accounts 
    • Exploring and developing new business opportunities
    • Taking responsibility for achieving the planned sales plans and targeted profitability objectives and putting effective counter measures in place should plans not be achieved
    • Ensuring high levels of engagement and relationships with clients, from day-to-day executives to executive-level champions
    • Monitoring relevant competition and market conditions for changes that impact business
    • Providing feedback and collaborating with our R & D teams
    • Several years of experience at building and executing account plans in the respective industry
    • Master's degree in one of the following studies: Chemistry, Life Sciences, Biology, Pharmaceutics or business administration with an additional technical training
    • Outstanding customer orientation and responsiveness
    • Strong ability to build sustainable relationships, ability to communicate efficiently on all levels
    • High level of business acumen 
    • Fluent both in Spanish and English, other language skills of advantage
    • Willingness to travel up to 75%
