You are...

a high school Junior with an affinity for STEM disciplines, a forward-thinking individual looking for a unique opportunity to start their career, and a young professional who consistently displays a poised and respectful attitude in the workplace.

This apprenticeship application will be for an 8-day Work Trial starting on one of the following dates:  June 10th, 2024 or July 8th 2024. Work Trial and Apprenticeship training are located in Ashland, VA. This Work Trial is the first step towards the full 3 or 5-year program. It will give interested students the chance to learn more about analytical instrumentation, their applications, and help determine the fit for the full 3 or 5-year apprenticeship program. During the apprenticeship program the candidates will complete their high school degree and an Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree through a local community college or four-year college or university. Upon completion of the program recent graduates will be required to work for Anton Paar for a period determined by their program. Anton Paar will offer a path into a Technical Trainee position with further career development. Apprentices have the ability to move to any region after completion of the program. The more open a candidate is to relocation the more opportunity there is for career progression within Anton Paar.

The compensation will be $12 per hour during the Work Trial program, $14 per hour while in high school, increasing to $16 per hour while working on receiving an Associate’s/Bachelor's degree. Anton Paar USA offers back to school incentives. Tuition at a local community college will be covered by Anton Paar while tuition assistance is available at a local 4-year college/university.
