As Technical Support Engineer, you will work as part of our Advanced Technical Services team on maintenance, repair, training, and customer support of highly complex measuring and laboratory instruments. You will report to the ATSC Service Supervisor in Ashland, VA. The base salary range for this position is $27.55-$33.35 per hour, depending on experience. Anton Paar USA offers full benefits, profit sharing bonuses, and a $10,000 anniversary bonus every five years. Please note that this position is not focused on IT.

Your responsibilities include:

• Training, maintenance, calibration, and repair of analytical laboratory instrumentation
• Phone support for internal and external customers, troubleshooting
• Supplemental travel to customer sites throughout the USA
• Administrative tasks related to service work

You will need these skills and qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in engineering or related technical field
• Good communication and customer service skills
• Experience in troubleshooting electronics, working with schematics, test equipment, and tools.
• Ability to travel up to 30% (including overnight travel)
• Valid driver's license and passport
